GMT COURSE
GENERAL MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN
Professional courses for GMT Technicians
Poseidon holds its Technical Service standards to the highest level. With such advanced diving equipment, an equally high-quality maintenance network is essential.
To ensure this, Poseidon has established a global network of certified Service Centers, authorized to carry out inspections, servicing, and repairs on all regulators, full-face masks, and rebreathers in the product line.
Access to this network begins with the Poseidon GMT (General Maintenance Technician) course. This training provides comprehensive instruction on the full range of Poseidon regulator systems—Cyklon, Jetstream, and Xstream—as well as the Atmosphere full-face mask. Participants gain detailed knowledge of regulator function, diagnostics, disassembly, maintenance, reassembly, and final calibration.
Upon successful completion, technicians are certified to service their own Poseidon regulators. However, to perform official Poseidon maintenance for third parties, technicians must operate within an authorized Poseidon Service Center—ensuring global consistency and quality control across all official repairs.
The course is led by Poseidon Pro Academy GMT Instructor and concludes with official Poseidon GMT certification.
