Did you know what the maintenance procedure of your Poseidon equipment is like?

At Poseidon Diving Systems, we understand that your equipment is your connection to the underwater world, your peace of mind, and your safety.

That’s why we want you to know, step by step, how we carry out the full maintenance and/or repair process of your equipment, whether it’s a regulator, a CCR, or an EBS.

 

 

1. Equipment Reception

• We receive and label your equipment, referencing the serial numbers of its components.
• We create the Registration Sheet with your data and all the technical details of the equipment:
Model, serial number, configuration, general condition and observed damages, intermediate pressure if applicable, client indications, procedures to be performed.
• We create an exclusive Photo Gallery in the cloud for your equipment, where we upload the process images so you can follow the progress.
• We will send you a confirmation email upon receiving your equipment and a link to the Photo Gallery in the cloud.
– Several photos are taken of the equipment as it has arrived.

2. Diagnosis

• A diagnosis is performed with a visual inspection. We check the external condition of your equipment and the intermediate pressure of the first stages is verified.
– Detailed photos are taken of the equipment before intervention: connections, external condition, visible damages, etc.

 

 

3. Disassembly

• We begin disassembling the equipment, component by component.
– We take photos of each component disassembled: 1st and 2nd stages, hoses, heads, valves, etc. Any damage, breakage or unusual wear is also documented with images and videos.
This step is key to understanding the condition of the equipment before intervention and to create a visual record.

 

4. Professional Cleaning

• All components are disassembled, inspected, and cleaned with ultrasonic baths and specific products or the appropriate method for each part.
• Salt and calcium residues, rust, old lubricants, and any accumulated dirt are removed.
– You will see before and after photos of the cleaning process.

 

5. Parts Replacement, Lubrication, and Assembly

• O-rings, seats, and filters are replaced using the corresponding official Maintenance Kit.
• If there is any broken part not included in the Maintenance Kit, we will contact you to evaluate the possibility of repair or replacement with its official part depending on the severity of the damage.
• Everything is assembled using official tools and lubricated with the corresponding greases as required.
– A comparison photo is taken between old and new O-rings and Kit components.

 

6. Adjustment and Final Verification

• Once assembled, the equipment goes through a rigorous quality and performance control.
Leak tests, flow, pressure, and dynamic behavior are performed.
• We make sure it complies with Poseidon’s safety and performance standards.
Videos are recorded of the intermediate pressure adjustment, if applicable, and of the complete leak test of the equipment.
– Finally, photos are taken of the finished, clean, adjusted, and ready-to-pack equipment.

 

7. Secure and Personalized Packaging

When the equipment is verified:
• We cut and disable the old parts to avoid their improper reuse.
• These are returned to you in the packaging of the new maintenance kit applied to your equipment. This way, in addition to the Photo Gallery, you can verify the replacement of the old components.
• We pack and secure the material with bubble wrap and a rigid box.
• We include a thank-you note and a small courtesy gift.

 

8. Back to Your Hands

When your package is ready:
• We send you a service confirmation email with the invoice and once again the link to the cloud where you can see the finished Photo Gallery and the Registration Sheet with the complete procedure performed on your equipment.
• Once the payment receipt of the invoice is sent, we will ship the equipment.
• You can manage the shipment yourself or let us do it for you.
• You will receive a notification and tracking number.
• We will send you an email with the official Poseidon Maintenance Certificate.
– And of course, a final photo of the packaged equipment.
