GHOST M1 DIVER 

Professional CCR Ghost M1 Course

Poseidon Pro Academy offers elite training to master the Poseidon CCR GHOST M1 rebreather. This comprehensive course covers assembly, inspection, underwater skills, disassembly, and maintenance, ensuring divers are fully prepared to operate the system safely and efficiently.

Participants will learn to:
  • Perform complete equipment assembly and dry testing
  • Apply diving techniques in confined and open water using the CCR GHOST M1
  • Control weight, buoyancy, and execute underwater navigation
  • Follow safety procedures, emergency protocols, and perform post-dive maintenance
  • Log dives using the Poseidon REEF app

 

Prerequisites

  • Be at least 18 years of age.
  • Belong to a military unit or a law enforcement agency.
  • Hold a Nitrox 40 Specialty certification issued by an international organization recognized by Poseidon.
  • Minimum of 50 recorded diving hours
  • At least 2 dives within the two months prior to the course
  • Military medical certificate confirming fitness to participate
 

Course Formats

The Poseidon CCR Ghost M1 course is available in two formats: Pro Academy Offices and On-clients location.

Course Structure

The Professional CCR Ghost M1 Course is a 3-day program with a total of 24 hours.

Theory Sessions:

  • General history of rebreathers: origins, military use, and technological evolution
  • Types of rebreathers: O2, mixed gas, and key differences
  • Diving physics applied to the GHOST M1
  • Diving medicine
  • Introduction to the GHOST M1: main components and advantages
  • Operating principles of the GHOST M1
  • Pre-dive preparation and testing
  • Dive planning
  • Safety and emergencies: emergency procedures
  • Maintenance: post-dive and annual

Training Sessions:

  • Session 1: Assembly and dry testing
  • Session 2: Confined water dive – pre-breathing, water entry, weight control, buoyancy, navigation, water exit, disassembly and cleaning; logging dives in the Poseidon REEF app
  • Session 3: Open water dive – pre-breathing warm-up, water entry, buoyancy control, controlled dive at 6 meters, controlled descent and ascent, disassembly and cleaning; logging in app
  • Session 4: Open water dive with emergency protocol – pre-breathing, entry, buoyancy control, 6-meter dive, emergency simulation, emergency ascent, disassembly and cleaning; logging in app

After the Course

Upon completing the GHOST M1 Diver course, you will be eligible to specialize further and advance to the GHOST M4 Diver course
