Professional CCR 45 Mission Instructor Course 

 

Poseidon Pro Academy offers elite instructor training to master decompression dives using a Poseidon rebreather. This advanced course prepares instructors to teach and supervise divers in planning and executing decompression dives safely and efficiently, using either air or trimix as a diluent.

Instructor participants will learn to teach:
  • Decompression dives using a Poseidon rebreather.
  • Apply the use of breathing gases containing a minimum of 20% O₂ and a maximum of 35% He, reaching a maximum depth of 40 meters (with air) or 45 meters (with trimix).
  • Use decompression gases containing up to 100% oxygen during ascent and instruct students in their proper application.
  • Perform full equipment assembly, dry testing, and both confined and open water dives, while teaching proper procedures to students.
  • Execute emergency maneuvers and enforce safety protocols during dives.
  • Log and track dives using the Poseidon REEF app, including training records for students

Prerequisites

  • Be a Poseidon CCR45 Mission diver.
  • Have 50 hours logged in Poseidon Reef with the Mission CCR.
  • Have at least 5 decompression dives below 40 meters with Mission CCR.

The Poseidon CCR 45 Mission Instructor course is available in two formats: Pro Academy Offices and On-clients location.

Course Structure

The Professional CCR 45 Mission Instructor Course is a 6-day program with a total of 48 hours.

  • Day 1: course introduction, review of the schedule, review of the teaching materials, development of 2 academic presentations and 2 skills from the CCR45 Mission Diver course.
  • Day 2 to 6: Co-attendance of a complete CCR45 diver course.

After the Course

Upon completing the Mission CCR45 Instructor Course, you will be fully equipped to guide and certify students in Poseidon rebreather training, as well as to further specialize and advance to more advanced courses, consolidating your skills and expertise in technical and decompression diving.
