SERVICE TECHNICIAN TRAINING COURSES

These specialized technical courses train participants to perform official maintenance, inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on Poseidon’s diving systems. Whether working with standard equipment, closed-circuit rebreathers, or emergency breathing systems, technicians receive focused, hands-on instruction to ensure the highest level of service and safety.

NAVY

TECHNICIAN TRAINING

U.S. Military Technician Level I

This course trains U.S. military divers in the fundamentals of Xstream design and function, and certifies them in the use of the 3460 Regulator Test Box as well as tuning and adjustment of the Xstream first and second stages.  It does not qualify them to perform disassembly and maintenance on the regulator system,   but it is highly recommended.

U.S. Military Technician Level II

This course trains U.S. military divers in diaphragm regulator theory, provides detailed Xstream design and function instruction, and certifies them to independently perform the military’s 24-month service on the Xstream first and second stages.  It also qualifies them to service the 3720  60 first stage, and to repair the 3460 Regulator Test Box.
Level 2 Certification is required for any Navy Diver with a regulator maintenance additional duty.
